How to Execute on Your Business Dreams (Without Doing It Alone)

The coaching industry is full of false promises. Anyone can make a course, anyone can call themselves a coach, and there's no regulation stopping somebody from promising you the world in one PDF download when they've never done the thing themselves. We've been burned too: we once hired somebody for $10,000 to run ads for us, and partway through she told us she didn't know she couldn't make the type of ad we needed. So in an industry like this, how do you know who to trust with your dream? Today we want to talk about results, referrals, and why executing your dream was never meant to be a solo project.

Why Referrals Beat False Promises Every Time

Essentially every single person inside Aligned CEO Method came to us by referral. Even the client who said "I didn't really do anything with you ahead of time" came because she saw somebody else talk about being in the program, and that recommendation was enough. A referral speaks to a result far more than a cold ad ever could, because people do not refer a coaching program they aren't getting results in, and they certainly don't come back year after year. You can build a 100% referral-based business with integrity too, by delivering on what you promise and then inviting your happy clients to share.

Do Your Due Diligence Before Joining Any Program

Before we joined our own mastermind, we emailed Chris Harder and said, "Here's where we're at, here are our hesitations, is there anybody in your program we can talk to?" He sent back three names, and one of those women has become a dear friend we now talk to every other week. We encourage you to do exactly this before joining anything, ours included. The host will always speak highly of their own program. Go talk to the people currently inside it, and ask about their real experience. From Firm Employee to Founder: Real Client Results

A few of our recent clients were professionals working for firms who wanted to go out on their own.
